Dr. Oyuka Byambasuren is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare at Bond University, Australia. She is a medical doctor and general practitioner by background. Her work focuses on improving the quality and use of evidence in real-world clinical settings, with particular interests in digital health, non-pharmacological interventions, and evidence synthesis and translation. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, she has led and contributed to several COVID-19–related evidence syntheses and research projects that informed national and international guidelines and public health mitigation efforts. Her current research focuses on Long COVID, models of care in primary health systems, clinical trial methodology, and meaningful consumer engagement in research.
